Service
Does it replace my receptionist?
No. It handles what she can’t: messages out of hours, in other languages or while she’s busy. Emergencies and sensitive cases always go to your team.
What do I have to do?
One 30-minute meeting to tell me about your treatments, prices and opening hours, and to approve the standard replies. I take care of the set-up, testing and maintenance.
How long does it take to be up and running?
7 days from the first meeting: on day 1 we meet, from day 2 to 6 I set it up and test it, and on day 7 we switch it on.
Which languages does it reply in?
In whatever language the patient writes in. Your team reads everything translated into Spanish (with Velunda 1.0, in your dashboard).
Does it work with my practice management software?
We look at it at the first meeting. If your software doesn’t allow a direct connection, the assistant uses a shared diary that your team can see in real time.
I already use Doctoralia. Do I need this?
They work together. Doctoralia brings you patients who are looking for you; Velunda answers the people who are already writing to you on WhatsApp or through your website and don’t get a reply in time.
Patients and security
Do patients know they’re talking to an AI?
Yes. It introduces itself as the clinic’s virtual assistant and, if the patient asks, puts them through to a person.
What if the assistant gets something wrong?
It only replies with information you approve. It never diagnoses or promises treatments. If it doesn’t know something, it passes it to your team.
What does it do in an emergency?
If the patient mentions severe pain, swelling or fever, or makes a complaint, it alerts your team straight away and offers them the first emergency appointment.
What about data protection?
We sign a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement. You remain the controller of your patients’ data.
Price and contract
How much does it cost?
2-month trial at €49/month. Then €179/month, VAT not included. No set-up fee. Clinics that sign up before 31 December 2026 keep their fee forever, for as long as they stay with Velunda.
When does the 2-month trial start?
If you sign up before 31 December 2026, on the day Velunda is actually working in your clinic, not on the day you sign up. And you keep the founder price forever, for as long as you stay with Velunda.
How does the guarantee work?
If the assistant doesn’t bring you 10 appointments in 60 days, we refund everything you’ve paid. An appointment counts if the assistant created it, it wasn’t cancelled and the patient turned up, or if it was confirmed and the clinic didn’t mark it as a no-show within the following 48 hours. The 60 days start with the first real message from a patient, and every month we show you the appointment count.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Cancel whenever you like, and it doesn’t renew the following month.
What is support like?
Directly with me, on WhatsApp. I’m from Barcelona and I come to the clinic whenever needed.
